Meghan Conroy is the Founder of captureproof, a secure platform for patients to share photos and videos with their doctor. She is a TechStars alum and has raised $1.2M. Meghan started her career as a pharmaceutical rep at Abbott Laboratories and Johnson & Johnson. She launched 14 products into the medical market always ranking within the top of the company’s sales force. After many successful years in pharma, Meghan moved to Paris to pursue a dream and degree in Photography. She then managed photography for clinical trials across Europe where the need for CaptureProof became obvious.

Phoenix Gonzalez is the Co-Founder of Dotstudioz INC which is a Digital Video Distribution and Monetization Platform. She is Chair of our Media & Entertainment Sector Group and has raised $830K. Phoenix is a multiple-hyphenate entrepreneur with limitless determination for project success. She brings with her a 15 year background in business development sales and marketing, clients include; Toyota Scion, Bare Escentuals, Wen, Cinemax /HBO and Victoria’s Secret. During the development stage of Dotstudioz, Phoenix successfully delivered the conceptual infrastructure to entertainment advisors at Sony, UTA, Freemantle, Lionsgate, Samsung Ventures, Verzion Ventures, Clearstone Ventures and Idea Lab to name a few.

Emily Best is the Founder of Seed&Spark which provides an end-to-end solution for filmmakers and film lovers to fund, promote, and watch films in a virtual studio and cinema. Emily was named 2014 New York Woman of Influence, and has raised $1.2M. Emily founded Seed&Spark to make a contribution to the truly independent community in which she would like to make moving pictures. In 2011, she had the great fortune of producing her first feature with a remarkable group of women. The spirit, the community and the challenges of that project, Like the Water, inspired Seed&Spark.

This panel will be moderated Maria Fernandez, Chair of Female Founder Group. Maria has been integral to the formation and programming of this new group.
