She also advises and mentors entrepreneurs on strategy, financial modeling, competitive analysis and product definition. Mar brings operational and technical expertise to the investment team. She has over 13 years of founder experience, having co-founded three start-ups in the mobile, e-commerce, enterprise software and semiconductor industries. She holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University with a combined hardware/software focus.
Pejman Mar Ventures is an early-stage fund that invests in exceptional founders building amazing companies. They consider themselves “angels with a large fund” and have found a new way to be seed investors. The founding partners take no salary, and all of their resources (personnel, network, space) are devoted to helping their companies achieve their goals.
