Peer-to-Peer: Email Marketing Best Practices (June 23, 2022)

Most startup founders and companies around the world use some kind of email marketing. According to one report, the percentage of marketers using email marketing totals more than 87 percent. And email marketing has proven cost effective time and time again. For every dollar spent users can expect an average return of $42.

Today, email marketing’s prevalence means there are more email marketing tools than ever before and knowing which to use and how to use them can present a challenge for startup founders. That’s why, on June 23, Founders Network member Kesavan Kanchi Kandadai will host a mastermind session on email marketing best practices.

Discussion will cover topics like email marketing metrics and key performance indicators, tools for database generation, and outsourcing with an email marketing company or managed service provider. Founders Network members will also share their experience using tools like Mailchimp, Activecampaign, Hubspot, Sendgrid, and more.

About the Moderator

Kesavan Kanchi Kandadai is an experienced media and tech professional with a deep expertise in designing and building software for online content, communities and commerce. He led the launch of Amazon Prime Video in India and was country head for Symphony Talent.

He is a pioneer in streaming and OTT and has built video platforms for major world sporting events including the Olympics and cricket and football World Cups.

Kesavan has now combined his experience in online content, marketing technologies, talent acquisition software to build ishield.ai - an AI assistant for inclusive brand and organizational communications, where he serves as co-founder & CEO.

As a father to twin children, he’s witnessed how everyone’s lives have moved online for study and work — and his mission, through ishield.ai, is to make those online spaces safe, inclusive and more human for future generations.

Kesavan holds a post graduate degree in applied statistics and computer science from IIT Bombay.
