Watch, Pitch, Learn: Join fnInvestor Oscar Ramos, Managing Director at Orbit Startups, for a virtual pitch practice where you’ll have the opportunity to get feedback on your startup pitch and learn from your peers.

Think of this as an extended elevator pitch. You’ll have three minutes to pitch and our guest investor will provide two minutes of feedback. Time is limited, so make it count.

Following the event, if there is mutual interest, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with the investor to discuss your pitch further.

Prior to the event, you'll be required to complete a dry run of your pitch with Member Success Manager Dina Fattom.

NOTE: RSVPing does not guarantee a spot to pitch. Three founders will be selected to pitch based on the investor's criteria a week before the Pitch Practice.

About the fnInvestor:

Oscar Ramos, tech-entrepreneur-turned-investor, Managing General Partner of Orbit Startups, Venture Partner of SOSV. Orbit is the Internet and software division of the venture capital fund SOSV (USD1.5B AuM). Oscar invests across multiple sectors with a focus in startups digitizing traditional industries like finance, healthcare or logistics in emerging markets in Asia, Africa and LATAM. In his current role, Oscar has made investment decisions and helped accelerate the growth of more than 300 startups. The investment portfolio collectively has generated billions of dollars in revenue, raised close to a billion dollars in VC funding, created thousands of jobs and improved the lives of hundreds of millions of people.

A “full-stack innovator” with expertise ranging from product design to corporate strategy. Oscar began his career working in deep-tech applications, including wireless communications, mobile network protocols, cybersecurity and bio-technology at Ericsson and Telefonica R&D centers. He moved to Asia 15+ years ago dropping out of his PhD in biomedical engineering to launch his fist startup. Prior to joining SOSV and Orbit, he built and led his own micro-fund investing in early-stage Chinese startups. Oscar holds a Masters of Engineering in Telecommunication from UPM in Madrid.
